WHAT IS THE TIMELINE OF A NIGHT SHOW?
Gates will open at 2:30 p.m., giving guests time to explore aircraft displays, meet performers and enjoy on-site activities before the show begins. Flying will start at 5:30 p.m. with a full demonstration by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, followed by a series of golden-hour performances by another incredible lineup of civilian and military performers. As the sun sets, the event transitions into a night show, featuring illuminated aircraft performing alongside pyrotechnic effects. It all builds to an epic fireworks and drone show finale celebrating America’s 250th birthday. We hope to wrap the show by 9:30 p.m.
can I buy tickets at the gate?
Yes, tickets will be $40 (plus taxes) at the gate. Please be prepared to pay with card.
WHEN ARE THE THUNDERBIRDS FLYING?
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will open our show at 5:30 p.m.
WILL I NEED SEPARATE TICKETS FOR THE NIGHT SHOW?
No, the night show is not a separate event. Flying starts at 5:30 p.m. and will continue until 9:30 p.m.
WHAT TIME DOES THE AIR SHOW START?
Gates will open at 2:30 p.m. Flying will go from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
CAN I USE TICKETS FOR BOTH DAYS?
No, tickets are specific to the day of purchase. Thank you for your understanding!
WHAT IF I CAN'T FIND MY EVENTSPROUT TICKETS?
The easiest way to get your tickets is to find your email order confirmation; tickets are usually attached as a PDF file you can print. If you can’t find them, have trouble printing, or have any other questions, contact Eventsprout here.
ARE REFUNDS AVAILABLE?
All attendees will have the opportunity to add ticket insurance at the time of purchase. There will be no refunds for this event unless you opt into the insurance and file a claim with FanShield.
DO I NEED TO BUY MY CHILDREN TICKETS?
General Admission tickets for ages 12 and under are FREE. Premium venue areas have a reduced price for youth admission. Please check our tickets page for additional information and current ticket prices. If you forgot to add your free ticket at time of purchase, please reach out to EventSprout to issue it for you.
HOW MUCH IS PARKING?
Parking is FREE at the Terre Haute Air Show, courtesy of Indiana State University Federal Credit Union.
We will have handicapped parking available in each lot and shuttles to help get you from the parking lots to the gates.
WEATHER UPDATES
Please be assured that we are monitoring weather closely and have plans in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees. We will provide timely updates through our social media channels if any changes are necessary. Rain or shine, we are ready for the Terre Haute Air Show to take flight!
WHAT CAN I BRING/NOT BRING?
We encourage General Admission to bring blankets and/or chairs to enjoy the show.
The following items are prohibited at the Terre Haute Air show:
- Smoking or Vaping
- No outside alcohol
- No weapons of any kind
- No drones
- No canopies or tents. Nothing larger than a personal size umbrella for rain.
- No pets
- No large coolers. Small, personal coolers or lunch boxes are allowed
- No 2-way AviRadios

IS THE SHOW THE SAME BOTH DAYS?
Yes, the show will be the same both days, barring any last minute changes.
CAN I FLY IN?
