FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Indiana’s Last Chance to Watch A-10 Demo at Terre Haute Air Show

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (March. 26, 2023) - After more than four decades of performing around the world, the Air Force A-10C Demonstration Team announced 2024 will be its final season. The 355th Wing located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., said the decision was a part of the Air Force’s divestment of the A-10 Thunderbolt II. The Terre Haute Air Show will be Indiana’s last chance to watch the A-10 Demonstration.

“This will be the culmination of more than 40 years of demonstrations performed by dozens of pilots and teams at hundreds of air shows across multiple countries,” the Wing said in a release March 20. “We encourage everyone with the opportunity to attend these remaining shows to see the A-10C Demonstration team in action one final time.”

The team still has 18 shows scheduled across the country from March 23 to Oct. 5. The A-10 Demo Team will perform at Purdue Aviation Day and the Terre Haute Air Show. The full schedule can be found here.

“We’re honored to host the A-10 Demonstration Team on their farewell tour,” said Air Show President Jordan Brown. “It’s the end of an era. We hope you’ll come watch Major Lindsay “MAD” Johnson and her team take to the skies one final time.”

Tickets to the Terre Haute Air Show are on sale now for $30. Youth 12 and under are free. Ticket options include General Admission, Pilots Lounge and Seating Areas with Shaded Tents. Prices go up in June, so don’t wait. To purchase tickets, visit www.terrehauteairshow.com.
